Lack of Interest

Here I thought there was a vast Marble Madness community, waiting to burst out and be heard. I missed the target on that premise. As it stands now, this community blog has existed for over two months, and I am still the only member. I guess I'll let this site simmer for awhile, maybe it will catch fire.

Seeking lost marbles

I have been hankering to play a real Marble Madness machine for about 20 years, it has been at least that long since I saw one in an arcade. I agree that this community should number in the millions, the game is that great. I am not interested in playing without the trackball, I wonder where I could pick up one of the games?

Re: Seeking lost marbles

I bought mine on ebay. You can also try craigslist.org. For machines out in the wild, try this site... http://arcadelocations.classicgaming.gamespy.com/

Arcade Games

Remember back in the day when you had to pay a quarter to play your favorite games and have some snot nosed kid bugging you while trying to play your Arcade Games?

well now you can play them for free in the privacy of your own home!

Re: Arcade Games

Fail!

A lot more atmosphere and social interaction at an arcade. I have not been able to recreate that at my home, not even close.

I just got done playing games at the Funspot in NH. God it felt good to be in a noisy arcade again.
